The knife bounces automatically but only slices when you tap to flip it. Time your flips to slice fruits as they pass by. Misses vary by difficulty — each fruit that escapes costs one. Bombs cost 1 life and reset your combo; MEGA bombs (stage 6+) also reset your score to the start of the current stage! Frozen fruits slow the whole field for 4 seconds (slow-mo is skipped under prefers-reduced-motion), golden fruits are rare and give +5, and chained slices grant combo multipliers: x2 at 5-combo, x3 at 10, x4 at 20. Every 100 points advances to the next of 8 stages: background theme, spawn speed (1.0 -> 1.4), and fruit/bomb mix all scale up. Stage 1: basic fruits only; Stages 2-3: golden apples appear; Stages 4-5: frozen fruits + bombs rise; Stages 6-7: mega bombs; Stage 8: maximum chaos. Pick a difficulty: Easy / Medium / Hard / Expert.
• Keyboard: A/D or arrow left/right to move the knife • Keyboard: Hold Space, Arrow Down, or S to flip the knife • Mobile: Touch left/right side to move, hold center to flip • The knife bounces automatically when idle (white pulse = ready) • Tapping launches the knife upward with a flip (blue glow = slicing) • The knife ONLY slices while flipping — idle bounces pass through • The flip ends when the knife completes a full rotation or hits the ground • When point-down, it sticks briefly and bounces back • Press P or click the pause button to pause/resume • You have 10 misses allowed - each fruit that escapes costs one • Touching a bomb while flipping costs 1 life and ends your combo; a MEGA bomb (stage 6+) also resets your score to the start of the current stage
