Classic Chinese sliding puzzle. Move the five generals and four soldiers to help Cao Cao escape from the bottom exit!

How to Play

Drag blocks directly or tap to select then use arrow keys to move. Win by moving Cao Cao (the large red block) to the bottom center of the board.

Objective

Slide other blocks to clear a path for Cao Cao (the 2×2 red block) to reach the bottom exit. 13 classic layouts from easy to hard—complete each in as few moves as possible!

Controls

• Drag a block directly to slide it, or tap to select then use arrow keys/buttons
• Blocks can only move up, down, left, or right (no diagonal moves)
• Moves cannot overlap with other blocks or boundaries
• Press Ctrl+Z or click undo to revert the last move
• Different layouts have different difficulties, minimum moves range from 70 to 100+

Tips & Strategy

• Observe the overall layout first and plan Cao Cao's path
• Soldiers (1×1) are the most flexible, often used to fill gaps
• Guan Yu (1×2 horizontal) is the key 'bridge' piece
• The five generals (1×2 vertical) need to be positioned in advance
• Classic 'Heng Dao Li Ma' layout minimum 81 moves
• 13 layouts total: Classic, Soldiers Split, Layers Defense, Commanding, Generals Camp, Side by Side, Peach Oath, Soldiers Attack, Siege No Kill, Rain Sound, Guard Mouth, United Defense, Open Gate
• Consecutive moves of the same block in the same direction count as one step; par moves is the optimal solution
